Newman Club needs our help for Book Donations

I just received some information from a friend (whom I met through the wonderful world of blogging) that the local Newman Club that her and her husband are actively involved with need our help with obtaining books for their Library.
If anyone is unfamiliar with the Newman Club it is a college club for Catholic students which strives to give these young adults a home away from home as well as increase their faith and knowledge about GOD.
In all this being said the Newman Club is asking for every ones help!
They are asking for donations of Christian books so that they can expand their library at the Newman Club and allow the college kids to read not only inspirational books but those that provide them with more knowledge about their faith!
If you would like to read more about the Newman Club and the Christian book drive please visit
or if you would like to donate some books or find our more information, please send an email to...
Please pass this post on to all of your friends... because it sure is a great joy when you can help someone out :)

New pics of little ones!

I just received these pics of some cuties wearing their outfits!

Here is a little girl that is about 2 months old and her middle name is "Love".

So what is more appropriate than a onesie with "Love" on it.

And of course you had to have the matching hair bow and baby legs to go with it!

(Ok, after seeing this little one, I really am wanting to have a little baby ASAP!
I don't know what could be more precious than this!)

Now here is a little one sporting her Birthday outfit.. pants and all!

Does she not just look adorable!

She was turning 3 and a princess!

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Fun Pics!

Here is a pic of a friends little boy wearing a Valentine Tie Shirt that I made him! His mom wanted a shirt to match his sisters absolutely adorable little dress and I think her idea was just genious! Because look at these two little munchkins together!

And since this weekend, I got to hang out with one of my bestest friends, I thought I would post a pic of her adorable little man, Kelby! He is only about a month old here but is just a doll! His dad is a fireman so of course you have to do a fireman pic :)

And finally the pic below just cracks me up every time I see it! Here is my dear Merritt in her over the top, outrageous tulle headband! I think from the face.. that she is not liking it as much as we are :)
OH and of course the tulle headbands are for sale in any color!
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

Kellys Korner - Show us your Life - Beauty Tips

This week at Kellys Korner she is doing Show Us Your Life - Beauty Tip and Favorite Products. So I just had to share what I have fallen in love with!

Ever since I hit about 27 my skin has decided that it wants to look more like a teenager going through puberty! I have always had great skin with maybe an occasional breakout here and there but nothing major when all of a sudden it was like a crazy infestation took over and breakouts were not only daily but were in coming in huge herds! So needless to say after trying to attack this monster myself with just my normal day to day skin regimen and no progress being made, I finally broke down and went to an estetician.

She took one look at my skin and said OH MY you have hormonal outbreaks! I mean really at 28 I am having "Hormonal" outbreaks. From there I then did a series of facials and peels each week for six weeks to get my skin re hydrated and the "hormones" under control. :)

Anyway, the whole point to this story is that she recommended I use Murad Skincare system and since then I have been LOVING how my skin feels, looks, and of course how much the breakouts have diminished! So here are a few of my favorite items from Murad!

I started with the Resurgence products
These products were used to make my skin not be so dry and to try and help with the hormonal acne. And yep it worked :)

Once we got the "hormonal" acne under control and my skin replenished with nutrients, it was time to use the following items.

Night regimen

Here is what it was used for:

Reveals firmer, younger-looking skin. Regimen includes Refreshing Cleanser, Night Reform® Glycolic Treatment and Perfecting Night Cream.
Restores resilience
Increases skin firmness
Visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles

I have to say I LOVED the night regimen and it truly does make a difference in my skin when I wake up.

Day Regimen

Here is what it is used for:

Keeps normal/combination skin in perfect, beautiful balance with Energizing Pomegranate Cleanser, T-Zone Pore Refining Gel and Energizing Pomegranate Moisturizer SPF 15.
Evens oily and dry zones
Clears clogged pores
Invigorates tired skin

So that is all folks. I have to say I really LOVE these products but it's because they worked for me. The only bad thing I will have to say about them is that they are a little bit on the pricey side but I guess I am willing to pay that only because I see a difference in my skin! :)

Hope this helps some!

NOTE for Tater Tots and Fire Hoses :

New boy onesies will finally be posted soon! I have a TON of new designs and I can't wait to show them off to everyone!

Little Rufus Found a Friend

So my busy season of work has started up which means I will be traveling alot and sinceJustin is working all the time at the fire station and at the restaurant he manages, poor little Rufus is being neglected.
(He's really not being neglected, I just feel bad for him since he is home by hisself all the time)
So with that being said, I have decided to do something drastic.. I have moved Rufus in with my brother until all the chaos at our house calms down.

At Tad's he will have his little friend Sadie to play with and he will be able to run in and out all day long!
(Tad has a doggie door and even though it's a tiny little door, Rufus always manages to scoop his big booty out of it so he can go enjoy the nice outdoor weather)

And Yes, I am very sad that Rufus is being moved for a bit, but I know it will make him happy which is all that matters! And it will give me a piece of mind that he is ok when I am gone :)

Here is a pic of Sadie and Rufus last night at my bro's. You can see they have already become fast buddies... or maybe I should say Rufus has become a fast nuisance to Sadie as he decided to invade her sleeping spot :)

More Little Ones Modeling

I just received these pics from a friend of mine. I made her daughter a Georgia Bulldogs shirt for Christmas and then her neice and OSU one as well! Pretty darn cute if you ask me.
